About Me:
I grew up on a farm in Southern Iowa. I know where things come from. I think it was Jude Wanniski who wrote a book titled “The Way the World Works” I've always loved that title. It captures the goal, purpose, or reason for life for me, to learn true cause and effect: the way the world works.
I'm entreprenurial, The best things I've done in life are the things that take thought, effort and creativity. I remember one of the best learning experiences was once as a kid when combining fescue seed with an Allis Chalmers '90 pull combine. I broke the hub on the combine. My dad was working as a carpenter. I'd never welded before, so I thought I was done for the day. I called Dad at work, explained the situation expecting to get the day off.
Dad just said, “Get some nickel cast rod and weld the damn thing. ” I did. It held, and I finished the job.
My wife Tammy and I run the Painted Lady Bed and Breakfast in northern Missouri. I work in Iowa for an agricultural tire plant. We home school our children Tom and Revae.
My objective is bring out the best in myself, using self study, affirmation, visualization, gentle discipline, thought, and control. I truly believe that all human being posses the seeds of true greatness, and am nurturing those seeds within myself.

Self perfection is the realization of ones own divinity, the potential for divinity in others, and a desire to show those who have lost their compass the way out of the dark night of ego spun illusions. The calm that ensues opens the pathway to a new world beyond description. A world of abundance, cooperation, respect, peace, self respect, compassion, consideration, confidence, happiness, access to the subconscious mind, even genius, where once there was only conflict. - James T.
